About this Privacy Policy

The S. Roque – Máquinas e Tecnologia Laser, S.A. (S. Roque) Group respects your preferences regarding to the collection and use of your personal data.

«Personal Data», refers to information related to a singular identified or identifiable person («Data Subject»); a singular person is considered identifiable when its able to be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, identification number, location data, electronic identifiers or to one or more specific elements regarding that person´s physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity.

S. Roque respects your preferences regarding the treatment of the Personal Data it collects. This Policy (“Policy”) allows you to know how S. Roque collects and uses your Personal Data, and how you can control its use, describing our practices regarding to the data we collect in the group´s other websites that connect and refer to this Policy (such as websites, software applications, social media and electronic messages), as well as marketing activities and offline sales (collectively, “Communication Channels”).

These Communication Channels can provide links to other platforms outside of the Group´s universe. We encourage you to check the Privacy Policies of these websites, services, social media or applications before providing your Personal Data.

What data do we collect about you?

We collect data about you when you register on our website or when you place an order for one of our products or services. We also collect your data when you voluntarily fill questionnaires, use our conversation tool (“chat”), give opinions (“feedback”), subscribe to newsletters or feeds, call us or write us.

The collected personal data is related to the purpose of why you contacted us, processing data such as your name, address, phone number, email address, subject, NIF (if concerning a commercial transaction) and your identification document (in case of exercising a right). Roque any sensitive personal information such as, ethnic or racial origin, political opinions, philosophic or religious beliefs, union affiliation, as well as genetic data, biometric data, data related to health or data related to sex life or sexual orientation.

The website´s usage information is collected using cookies, but doesn’t specifically identify you, and the following data is or can be collected:

Geographic Location

Information about the device that’s accessing the website, namely, type and version of the browser, operating system, screen resolution, preferred language, information contained in the HTTP headers and agent version.

The search engine you used to locate and access the website.

Date and time of activity on the website, as well as, web pages and visited and clicked on content.

It’s important to note that this usage information does not deliberately identify you, and if exceptionally it does, it will be anonymized immediately.

In what way do we use your information?

You have the right to file a complaint to a European Union Control Authority regarding the protection of your Personal Data.

S. Roque will cooperate with the Control Authority by providing all information that it may request from us, in the exercise of its powers.

The data collected on this website does not involve automated decision making, including profiling.

No comparisons, interconnections or any other way of interrelating the registered information are made on this website.

Due to the fact that your data could circulate on an open network, there is a risk that they might be seen or utilized by non-authorized third parties.

S. Roque only accepts registration from users that are at least 16 years old. S. Roque´s communication channels are not directed towards underage users. If you know about any registration done by a minor, we would appreciate it if you could alert us to that fact so that we can proceed with the immediate removal of this user.

The recipients or categories of recipients of your Personal Data, depending on the contact tool you use are, the Marketing and Communication departments, Call Center, Pre-Sales and Commercial and Technical Support departments.

We will share your personal data with your consent or, as necessary, to complete any transaction or to provide any service that you have requested. We will also share the data with affiliates controlled by S. Roque and its subsidiaries; with salesman that work in our behalf; when demanded by law or to respond to a legal process; to protect our clients; to protect lives; to maintain the safety of our services; and to protect property rights or S. Roque.

Access and correction of your data

We want to be sure about the accuracy and reliability of the information that we keep about you.

We trust the User to provide us with accurate and complete information, and to keep it updated regarding any changes that might happen.

The User has the right to withdraw his/her consent at any time, without compromising the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent previously given and the right to request from S. Roque access to the Personal Data concerning him/her, as well as their rectification or erasure, and the limitation of processing as far as it concerns the User, or the right to object to the processing, as well as the right to data portability.

The Personal Data required to execute a contract of which the User is a part of, for the fulfillment of the legal obligations to which the person Responsible for Treatment is subject to and those that are necessary for the effect of the legitimate interests pursued by S. Roque are not included in the previous point.

Without prejudice to legal or regulatory provisions to the contrary, the Personal Data shall be kept only for the minimum period necessary for the purposes to which they were collected or further processed, after which they shall be deleted or, if it is in the interest of S. Roque, processed for statistical purposes, anonymized, making sure it won’t be possible to identify the Data´s owner.

Consent is required for further processing of Personal Data for a purpose other than that for which the data has been collected, prior to such processing the Controller shall provide the Data Subject with information about that purpose and any other relevant information.

If the requests presented by the User are manifestly unfounded or excessive, namely due to their repetitive nature, S. Roque, under the legal framework in force, may require the payment of a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information or communication, and of taking the requested action, or it also may refuse to comply with the request.
