Screen-printing

A ROQprint YOU with 10 pallets and 6 colours is on display. This is a super solid solution for any printer. With the traditional quality of construction from ROQ it creates high end quality prints.

The newest carousel from ROQ is making its debut. The ROQprint NEXT brings out the latest technology in screen-printing. The main traits are: registration, quality,

versatility, XL printing area (20”x28”) and speed boosting 1200 piecers/hour. The ROQprint NEXT at the ISS Long Beach 2019 has 12 pallets and 8 colors.

The flagship carousel automatic screen-printing machine from ROQ is also present. The ROQprint ECO at the show has 16 pallets and 12 colours. The ROQprint ECO is the pinnacle of quality and efficiency with a perfect registration allowing for printing areas up to 3XL (31.5”x43.3”).These are supported by an electric ROQtunnel to cure all the garments that are printed in the different live demonstrations.

Fold & Pack

After curing you will need to pack. For that ROQ brought to the ISS Long Beach 2019 a complete line for folding and packing garments. In the booth #3001 you will find the

ROQ FOLD, the ROQ PACK and the new ROQ LABEL P&A to finalize the production process.

This is a complete setup for any screen-printer but ROQ loves to push the boundaries.

Digital printing (DTG)

To stop the show at the ISS Long Beach 2019, ROQ is unfolding for the first time its new DTG machine, the ROQprint NOW. The ROQprint NOW is a fully automatic pure DTG. ROQ fused its knowledge from the oval screen-printing machines and digital printing technology to create the NOW. It boosts 300 pieces per hour. As usual, ROQ was present in the 18th Knit Show 2018 in Tirupur, India.

In this edition for demonstration, we had with the ROQPRINT YOU P10M carousel machine, with 10 pallets and 9 colors; and the ECO P20XL, with 20 pallets and 18 colors. In addition to these machines, the professionals in screen printing and visitors could also obtain information on the remaining ROQ screen printing machines, packaging line, digital printing (dtg) and range of accessories.

The SGIA 2017 will take place in New Orleans in the state of Louisiana, United States. This year the exhibition will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. It will start on the 10th of October and it will run up to the 12th.

ROQ + Ryonet will be located at booth 101 with some heavy machinery and the latest technology available.

At the site the visitors will find several automatic screen printing machines plus the new ROQ Hybrid. The ROQ Hybrid will be set up on a ROQprint ECO with 16 pallets XL and with 9 print heads. This setup will bring to our visitors a glimmer of their future as screen printers.

We will bring our latest technology to FESPA 2017 in Hamburg, Germany from the 8^th up to the 12^th of May. The biggest tradeshow of the year will have our best stand of the year! Our stand  D 80 is in Hall 6.

The full range of our printing solutions will be at FESPA 2017. We say printing and not screen printing because we will do the debut in a trade show of our new ROQ Hybrid.

For those who don’t know yet the ROQ Hybrid, it is a digital textile printer, a direct to garment (DTG). The ROQ Hybrid was designed to work in conjunction with an automatic screen printing machine. The ROQ Hybrid will be working attached to the new ROQ ECO XL with 18 pallets and 10 print heads. This ECO will debut the new automation system at a tradeshow. This is the second announcement of a debut in FESPA 2017 but are not stopping here!

We will also bring an Oval Evolution with 20 pallets and 10 print heads. With the Oval Evolution we will show our ROQpress foil, ROQpress Iron, ROQ flock, ROQ Asp and ROQ cool. For the last 20 years THE biggest question has been:”will digital printing make screen printing obsolete?”

Well ROQ finally ends this debate with the ROQ Hybrid.

Why choose between screen or digital when you can have both?

As an example, on the Fujifilm Dimatix it is possible to repair the nozzles instead of replacing the whole print head. This feature allows for a greater lifespan of the print heads.

The ROQ Hybrid can come with a maximum printing size of 500 x 700mm or 750 x 900mm.

The ROQ Hybrid adapts to the type of textile you are printing on. The Z axis can be adjusted (up to 20mm) to make take in account the different height of the textile you are printing on.

To partner with the ROQ Hybrid, ROQ also has a new line of digital inks and products as well the ROQ Studio a RIP software powered by Neostampa.

The best way represent some of the advantages is to give an example. If you have a job to make a print on a dark garment (1 or 2 screens, depending on the opacity needed for the base) with four colour process (4 screens), 1 highlight (1 screen), 1 foil (1 screen) and glitter (1 screen). Instead of needing 8 or 9 screens, with the ROQ Hybrid you will need 1 or 2 screens for the base, 1 screen for the foil, and 1 screen for the glitter. Your print will have digital quality and you will be able to present something that was not possible before, the referred quality with screen printing specific technics. All of this done in perfect synchrony with the speed of a screen printing machine and with 3 or 4 screens, less than half the screens (smaller costs and lower setup times)

If you want to represent 16 years of hard innovation, how do you do it?

ROQ is all about quality boosted by innovation. As we are, every year, incorporating innovations and design evolutions sometimes there is the temptation of looking only for today and tomorrow.

But ROQ was still known as S. Roque in 2000 when we sold our first oval screen printing machine. We made a video about this machine. In terms of its essence it is a ROQ machine, no doubt. It’s still working today with the same flawless precision it had 16 years ago. We made a video about it, find it HERE. It boost quality, durability, precision and by 2000 standards it brought the most important innovation ever for an oval screen printing machines. Due to its new rotation system it was the first oval screen printing machine capable of maintaining registry like a circular automatic screen printing machine.

But this was 16 years ago. How are we building oval screen printing machines today?

Well we are above all being faithful to our principles. Our machines are still built with top quality aiming for durability and precision and as previously stated we inject innovation several times a year.

Today we run two lines of oval screen printing machines, the ROQPrint Oval Pro and the ROQPrint Oval Evolution. They still use the same color pallet as the oval screen printing machine from 2000 but it is very hard to compare the functions. The base, the work they produce is in both cases of great quality but the today machines are a lot more versatile and faster. Easier to work with and with a ton more of functions. We have customers running 4 jobs at the same time in a ROQPrint Oval Evolution and this is as simple as configuring everything from the central console. We have developed several modules to automatically apply foil and flock. Today it is easier and faster to work with any ROQ machines but the quality, the quality is the same.
