ROQ’s New Generation of Dryers – The ROQ SAHARA
At ROQ, we are never satisfied with our machines. There is always something to improve upon, and there is always feedback we should listen to and act on. With this desire to constantly improve within our company's DNA, ROQ´s engineering team partnered up with INEGI and worked tirelessly to bring our dryer to new heights.
It’s beloved trademark features remain the same. It’s still a very versatile platform that is able to adapt to any print shop no matter the environmental conditions or the type of power available as it can be run with either gas, electricity or both(MIX option) by switching between them at the press of a button.
Despite all these great features, we kept listening to our costumer's feedback and decided we should take a new look at our dryer and make it the best it possibly can be.
Our partnership with INEGI– Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, an institute with over 35 years of engineering know-how that specializes in R&D, brought over a new fresh outlook on our machine which allowed us to accurately pin-point the weaknesses of our dryer and steadily improve upon them through a lot of dedication and hard work.
This partnership allied to our unrelenting dedication made the ROQ SAHARA come to life, leaving the Tunnel behind and moving forward towards the desert where temperatures run high and steady.
About this fruitful partnership, Domingos Moreira, responsible for Business Development at INEGI in the Product and Systems Development Area, said the following:
“For INEGI, it is great to be ROQ's technological partner and contribute to the optimization of its products. In this case, through our experience and knowledge in the area of product development, equipment and systems design, particularly in the fields of thermal energy and fluid dynamics. We believe that these partnerships are vital for making the industrial ecosystem increasingly innovative and consequently competitive.”
In order to compete at the highest level, our new dryer comes with improved energy efficiency through its reinforced insulation and stand-by mode, an increased chamber entry height of 140 mm (5,5’), noise reduction and an updated user-friendly software with a brand-new recipe saving system to adapt to different types of job curing parameters.
Performing maintenance is also faster and easier than ever as we improved its filter access to make sure the process is as stress-free as possible.
Just like its predecessor, the ROQ SAHARA can be fully customized to meet your needs and will for sure make a great new addition to your business, turning any print shop's curing section into a small desert able to achieve high temperatures whilst being safer and more efficient than ever before.
