T-shirt design involves the application of complex screen printing and digital techniques for its production.

For ROQ there are no limits! In our ROQ Tech Center, we give wings to the imagination of our customers!

Innovation has been in ROQ's DNA for four decades, creating screen and digital printing machines that allow our customers to do amazing and differentiating work with high precision and reliability.

This printed t-shirt is one of the examples of the innovation and technical capability of the machines produced by ROQ, combining perfectly the screen printing techniques of foil, crackle and digital printing on crackle.

How did we do it?

The machines used were a ROQ Oval Evolution P24 and a ROQ Hybdrid 5070. 

In the application of these 3 techniques (foil, crackle and digital print on crackle) were used only 4 silkscreen frames.

» 1 frame for Foil application using ROQ Foil

» 1 frame for applying ROQ Primer 

» 2 frames for applying Crackle.

1. Glue application 

2. Foil application using ROQ Foil

3. Crackle application on the silkscreen frame.

4. Curing the Crackle in a flash at 150° for 4 seconds.

5. Application of the second Crackle and cure again at 130° for 4 seconds.

6. Application of ROQ Primer on top of the Crackle so that the fingerprint 

7. Flash cure done with probe at 100° for 1 second for the part to enter the ROQ Hybrid for the fingerprint.

8. Digital Printing of the statue over the Crackle in the ROQ Hybrid

9. Curing done in the oven for 5 minutes at 160°.

10. Application of the Crackle so that the statue looks a few thousand years old.

So we have a statue from Ancient Greece, with the weight of years on top, but which is built with a 1200 dpis.

This is just another example of the mix of techniques possible to create with a ROQ Hybrid, with the mixture between screen printing and digital printing.
